Launching Avreo interCONNECT on your Private Device by Adding an Icon from Internet Explorer to Your Desktop

Access interCONNECT by double-clicking an icon on the Windows Desktop. To add the icon, follow these steps:

1. When this web page launches, interCONNECT.exe automatically starts the download.
2. When the File Download message automatically appears, click the Save button.
   Note: If a yellow bar displays at the top of the web page, click the bar, then click the Download File command on the menu. Click the Save button on the subsequent message. Save the file to the desktop.
3. On the interCONNECT.exe download has completed message, click the Open Folder button.
4. Arrange the Explorer window so you can also see the Windows desktop.
5. Drag the interCONNECT.exe file from the download folder to the desktop.
6. You can now double-click this desktop item to open the application. You no longer need to access interCONNECT from the web browser.

If you prefer to launch interCONNECT from the browser rather than adding an icon to your desktop, follow these instructions:

1. If the File Download message automatically appears, click the Run button on each message.
2. If a yellow bar displays at the top of the web page, click the bar, then click Download File command on the menu. Click the Run button on each subsequent message.
